So for April Fool's day I was under the impression that there was going to be a Calvin and Hobbs film in the works. Though I was saddened at the idea that this beloved I.P. wouldn't get it's day on the big screen, (or at least I don't think there is) I still was moved by the concept art from Sylvain Sarrailh. I kitbashed this over the weekend and lit it. It was a wonderful time creating this piece regardless and I hope one day Calvin and Hobbs does come to the big screen.
