During my time at insomniac games, I had one of the most educating and fulfilling times that I can remember as an artist. I participated in hands-on in game production working on Spiderman 2. It was an engaging and fast-paced and creative environment that allowed me to grow as an artist. I was mentored by senior lighting team members, lighting both environments and cinematics. I worked closely with the lighting department, rendering techniques and workflows, and made meaningful contributions to multiple projects using Insomniac’s proprietary engine. I prepped content and documented new workflows using PureRef, Word, Photoshop and Insomniac’s proprietary engine. I polished and optimized existing lighting and initiated lighting of environments, cinematics, and characters. I delivered milestone content with the rest of the team. I spent 480 plus hours working with Insomniac's proprietary game engine.
