In this piece, I wanted to start a series of images telling the story of Kisembo, K.C. for short and his journey to find his brother, Tunde, as well as himself. Along the way he gets granted help from the great Orisha; spirits from the Yoruba and Santeria faiths respectfully.
In this scene, the trickster orisha and keeper of the ways, Elegua, is trying to show K.C. the path to his true destiny. K.C. on the other hand wants nothing to do with the spirits or the orisha. Little does he know, this is only the beginning.
